The 80th Annual Meeting of the JSIE

Dear members of the Japan Society of International Economics

The 80th annual meeting of the Japan Society of International Economics in 2021 will be held at University of Tokyo on Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24. We plan to have a hybrid meeting with onsite/online presentations, although we will flexibly adjust the meeting format, closely following the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. We strongly hope that all members consider this meeting as a great opportunity to exchange research ideas. We will do our best to make the meeting fruitful, despite our very few experiences of hybrid meeting of this size. We sincerely hope to receive many submissions for presentation, and look forward to seeing as many members as possible in the meeting.

Taiji Furusawa, The chief of the local organizing committee for the 80th annual meeting
Chisato Shibayama, The chief of the program committee for the 80th annual meeting
